BETHLEHEM, Thursday, June 06, 2019 (WAFA) – Israeli settlers took over a piece of agricultural land in al- Makhrour area, in Bethlehem’s town of Beit Jaila, said a local activist.
Hasan Breijieh, from the anti-wall, anti-settlement committee in Bethlehem, told WAFA an Israeli settlement association took over around four dunums of land in Beit Jala, and rehabilitated and farmed it after placing barbed-wire fence around it as a prelude to place mobile homes there.
He said this Israeli measure proves their intentions to take over the area for the benefit of settlement expansion.
