Israel Detains 10 Palestinians in Nablus, Hebron

HEBRON, July 11, 2016 (WAFA) – Israeli army forces on Monday detained at least 10 Palestinians during predawn raids in the West Bank districts of Hebron and Nablus, according to local and security sources.

In Hebron, in southern West Bank, the army detained Qatada Dofash, 25, Abdullah Tamimi, and Malek Abu Esheh, 32.

Israeli troops also broke into the nearby town of Dora, where they detained Khallaf Talahmeh, Ayed Faqih, and his son, Akram, 26, after raiding and searching their homes.

In the meantime, forces stormed the town of Shuyukh, nearby, and confiscated the vehicle of Hamza Halayqa, a local Palestinian, whereas they occupied the house of another Palestinian local, Ismail Shalaldeh, for a couple of hours.

Israeli forces further broke into the village of al-Burj, south of Hebron, and handed summons to two Palestinian locals to appear for questioning before the Israeli intelligence.

Meanwhile in Nablus district, in northern West Bank, Israeli army stormed the village of Urif, searched several homes, detained four Palestinians and seized two vehicles belonging to two of the detainees.

The detainees were identified as Saadi Safadi, Najeh Safadi, Ali Safadi, and Essam Safadi.

Israeli troops also detained Sayed Jabri and Mohammad Kurd, 18, after raiding their homes in Aida refugee camp near Bethlehem.

In Tulkarm area, forces detained Amjad Abu Zuhri, 40, and Munther Ekbariya, 54, from the village of Shwekeh.
