RAMALLAH, Sunday, April 14, 2019 (WAFA) – The newly formed Palestinian government of Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayeh will be repeating its swearing-in in front of President Mahmoud Abbas today, said the government’s spokesperson Ibrahim Melhem.
Melhem said the repetition would take place after it was found that the text of the swearing-in of the new government yesterday had a typing error.
He added that the correct text of the swearing-in should thus read, “I swear by Almighty Allah to be loyal to the homeland and its sanctities, to the people and its national heritage, to respect the constitutional order and the law, and to take full care of the interests of the Palestinian people.”
