JERUSALEM, Sunday, October 20, 2019 (WAFA) – Israeli forces assaulted today a group of Palestinian worshipers who were holding a sit-in in protest of Israel’s orders banning them from entering Al Aqsa Mosque compound at one of its gate, according to local sources.
The forces reportedly assaulted the worshipers and beat up some of them, as the former protected dozens of Israeli settlers who were entering the holy site to perform a provocative tour on the occasion of the Sukkot holiday.
About 600 fanatic settlers heavily backed by Israeli police forced their way into the holy Muslim compound since early today morning and performed Talmudic rituals, provoking Muslim worshipers at the site.
