Settlers flood Khan al-Ahmar village with wastewater

JERUSALEM, Monday, October 15, 2018 (WAFA) – Israeli settlers from the illegal settlement of Kfar Adumim Monday flooded the village of Khan al-Ahmar, to the east of occupied Jerusalem, with wastewater causing serious environmental and health hazard for village residents and hundreds of supporters who are on constant vigil at the condemned village, according to sources at the village.

They told WAFA that the wastewater from the settlement flooded large areas of village lands as settlers attempt to aid their government in its drive to force the village residents to leave it.

This is not the first time the settlers open their sewage pipelines at the Palestinian village. A few days ago, the settlers dumped their wastewater twice at the village creating serious damage to land and  property.

Israel intends to demolish the village and remove by force its residents in order to build a settlement on its location, a step strongly protested by Palestinians as well as the United Nations and the international community because it would kill the two-state solution.
