RAMALLAH, Saturday, January 05, 2019 (WAFA) – Following the vandalism and destruction assailants caused to Palestine TV building in Gaza on Friday, the General Supervisor of the Official Media, Ahmad Assaf, expressed fear on Saturday of other similar acts by Hamas, which control’s Gaza, against people and institutions in the Gaza Strip.

“I fear Hamas is preparing and setting the ground for something against our people in the Gaza Strip in order to shun them off from the next stage,” Assaf told Voice of Palestine radio. “This attack (on the TV station) is not an isolated incident rather it is one of many attacks against our people in the Strip,”

Assaf said “those who attempted to assassinate the prime minister and chief of intelligence are expected to carry out such a crime.”

He said Palestine TV, as a nationalist institution doing its work like any other institution, should be protected by the Palestinian people.
