TUBAS, July 25, 2018 (WAFA) – Israeli bulldozers destroyed late Tuesday a water pipeline that was supplying the northern Jordan Valley village of Ras al-Ahmar with fresh water as they razed the land to open a road, according to Motaz Bisharat, a local official.

He said bulldozers working on the road under military protection destroyed the pipeline the local farmers were using to drink from and irrigate their land.

The soldiers declared the area a closed military zone and prevented its Palestinian residents from leaving their tents during the operation.

Ras al-Ahmar is often violated by Israeli forces who carry out demolition, razing of land and military training in the area and around the homes forcing the residents to leave their homes for hours and days.
