JORDAN VALLEY, Friday, July 12, 2019 (WAFA) – Illegal Jewish settlers took over a number of water wells today in the northern Jordan Valley village of Kherbet Samra, according to local sources.
Aref Daraghmeh, a local activist who monitors settlement activities, told WAFA that settlers took over the water wells, which belong to local Bedouin herders, and used them to water their cattle.
Palestinian civilians and Bedouin herders in the Jordan Valley region, which makes up one third of the occupied West Bank, are frequently harassed by Jewish settlers who wish to take over the entire area and empty it of its Palestinian population.
