HEBRON, December 17, 2017 (WAFA) – Israeli forces on Sunday cut down tens of trees, including almonds, oak and hawthorn owned by a Palestinian from the town of Beit Ummar, to the north of Hebron in the West Bank, according to local sources.
Mohammad Awad, a local activist, told WAFA that staff from the Israeli Environment Authority accompanied by a military escort cut down dozens of these trees, which belong to Thabet Abu Maria from Beit Ummar town.
The Israeli authorities did not give a reason for cutting down the trees, according to our sources.
