BETHLEHEM, Monday, September 02, 2019 (WAFA) – Israeli settlers razed an agricultural land belonging to a local resident in al-Makhrour area, west of Beit Jala city, north of the southern West Bank district of Bethlehem, and set up caravans there in preparation for establishing a new settler outpost, said a local official.
Hasan Brijieh, representative of the Bethlehem anti-settlements and wall committee, said the targeted land is located adjacent to a privately-owned Palestinian house and a restaurant that were demolished last week by Israeli forces.
The land belongs to local resident Saba Iskandar.
He pointed out that al-Makhrour area has been subjected to settlers’ attacks for some time now with the aim of taking over the area for the benefit of settlement construction.
