RAMALLAH, August 22, 2018 (WAFA) – Member of the Palestine Liberation Organization’s (PLO) Executive Committee Ahmad al-Tamimi Wednesday dismissed US President Donald Trump’s recent remarks on Jerusalem as “worthless”.

Al-Tamimi said that Trump’s remarks reiterating that Jerusalem is off the negotiation table were “a continuation of the US policies in favor of Israel and of the US Administration’s illusions about the applicability of the so-called deal of the century without recognizing ]East[ Jerusalem as the capital of the Palestinian state.”

He reiterated President Mahmoud Abbas’ absolute rejection of Trump’s the so-called deal of the century as well as of the US policies on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, stressing that no Palestinian would agree to them.
