NABLUS, November 9, 2015 (WAFA) –
Israeli forces detained overnight and Sunday evening six Palestinians,
including a minor, from West Bank districts, said security sources and
witnesses.
Israeli forces raided the northern
West Bank city of Nablus, where they proceeded to detain two Palestinians after
breaking into and ransacking their houses in al-Makhfiya neighborhood.
The detainees were identified as
Mu‘ath Mousa, 23, and Yasser Manna‘, 24.
Meanwhile in Jerusalem district, Israeli
police raided al-‘Issawiya town, north of the city, where they detained a
Palestinian minor after storming his house. The detainee was identified as
Muhammad ‘Ubeid.
This came several hours after Israeli
forces Sunday evening detained other three Palestinians from Hebron and
al-Bireh.
Forces detained a Palestinian as they
raided al-Fawwar refugee camp, south of Hebron. The detainee was identified as
‘Abdul-Rahman At-Titi, 18.
Another Palestinian, who remained
unidentified, was detained by Israeli forces in the vicinity of Ibrahimi
Mosque, known to Jews as Cave of the Patriarchs, in the old city of Hebron.
Meanwhile, settlers from the Israeli
settlement of Kiryat Araba‘, east of Hebron, physically assaulted a Palestinian
minor.
Tha’er Da‘na, 15, sustained fractures
after being attacked by settlers. He was rushed into a Hebron hospital.
Meanwhile in the central West Bank
city of al-Bireh, forces detained a Palestinian in a raid into the city. WAFA
reported witnesses as saying that Israeli troops raided the city and broke into
the house of Sulaiman Shahin, where mourners flocked to express their
condolences.
Shahin, 22, was shot killed by Israeli
forces at Za‘tara checkpoint, also known to Israelis as Tapuah junction,
south of Nablus, after he allegedly ran over three Israelis, leaving them
injured. The detainee was identified as
Majd Salehiya, 24.
