RAMALLAH, Friday, May 22, 2020 (WAFA) – The Ministry of Health confirmed today two more recoveries from coronavirus in Hebron district, south of the occupied West Bank, bringing up the total recoveries in Palestine to 466, representing 77.4 percent of the total infections.

The ministry said in a briefing on the coronavirus situation in Palestine that the number of cases reported so far stands at 602, including 319 cases in occupied Jerusalem, 228 in the West Bank, and 55 in the Gaza Strip.

It said the number of active cases was 132, including 60 and 33 cases in the West Bank districts of Jerusalem and Hebron respectively, in addition to 39 ones in the Gaza Strip, representing 21.9 percent of the total infections.

Meanwhile, the ministry pointed out that 30,581 people are currently under quarantine in Palestine, and that 60,213 others have concluded their quarantine since the outbreak of the pandemic in early March.

A total of 51,903 coronavirus tests have been conducted by the ministry.
