JERUSALEM, December 1, 2016 (WAFA) – Israeli forces detained at least 12 Palestinians during raids in Jerusalem and the West Bank district of Qalqilia, the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) said Thursday.

PPS said Israeli police detained seven Palestinians from East Jerusalem, including 16-year-old Mohammad Attoun, son of lawmaker Ahmad Attoun. Israel expelled Attoun from East Jerusalem and forced him to live in the West Bank, away from his family and home.

Meanwhile, Israeli troops broke into the village of Azzoun, east of Qalqilia, where they detained five Palestinians.
