CAIRO, Saturday, April 20, 2019 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas arrived in Cairo today for an official visit, during which he will meet his Egyptian counterpart Abdul-Fattah el-Sisi to discuss the latest developments in the region.

He was received at Cairo International Airport by Egyptian Minister of Manpower Mohamed Saafan and Palestine’s Ambassador to Egypt Diab Al-Louh, as well as staff from the Palestinian embassy in Cairo.

The President is also expected to attend the Extraordinary Session of the League of Arab States at the ministerial level on Sunday to discuss the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories, which is to be held at the request of the State of Palestine.
