RAMALLAH, Sunday, May 10, 2020 (WAFA) – Minister of Health, Mai Alkaila, confirmed today 30 more recoveries among the coronavirus patients in Palestine, which brings up the total recovery cases in the country to 334, representing 61 percent of the total coronavirus cases.
She said five governorates in the West Bank are currently free of the novel virus, namely Tubas, Jericho, Jenin, Qalqilia, and Bethlehem.
Alkaila added that out of the 547 cases of coronavirus registered so far in Palestine, 192 remain active to date, of which 128 cases are in occupied East Jerusalem and the outskirts of the city on the West Bank side of the Israeli Segregation Barrier.
She explained that all cases are in a good condition and none were placed in ICU, adding that 198 people remain in home quarantine so far.
In the meantime, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said that a Palestinian national in Saudi Arabia died yesterday from the coronavirus, raising the total number of deaths from the virus among Palestinian expatriates abroad to 73.
