NABLUS, Wednesday, November 07, 2018 (WAFA) – At least five Palestinians were injured as dozens of settlers attacked a secondary school for boys in the village of Urif to the south of Nablus, the occupied West Bank, said a local official.
Head of Urif village council, Mazen Shehadeh, told WAFA dozens of settlers from the illegal Israeli settlement of Yitzhar, backed by Israeli army forces, attacked the school with stones, provoking villagers and leading to clashes.
Forces fired live ammunition, rubber-coated steel bullets, and tear gas canisters towards residents and their homes, injuring at least five people.
Two people sustained head injuries after being struck in the head with stones, while another resident was injured after being shot by live fire. Dozens others suffocated due to tear gas inhalation.
Students were evacuated from the school due to the attack.
