Israeli bulldozers raze farmland, demolish wells in Hebron area

HEBRON, September 7, 2016 (WAFA) – Israeli bulldozers Wednesday razed a large tract of Palestinian farmland and demolished two water wells in Beit Ula, a village northwest of Hebron, said a local activist.

Issa Amleh said Israeli bulldozers razed over 40 dunums of farmland and destroyed two wells located in the vicinity of the segregation wall claiming the land was state owned.

Amleh said the razed land was cultivated with olive and fruit trees.

He said that the demolition took place without any prior notice or warning even though an appeal was still pending in Israeli court.
