Clashes erupt in Nablus-area village, youth shot and injured

 

RAMALLAH, Sunday, February 03, 2019 (WAFA) – A Palestinian was shot and injured with a rubber-coated steel bullet during clashes that broke out with Israeli forces in the village of al-Lubban Ash-Sharqiya, south of Nablus, the occupied West Bank, said local sources.

Sources told WAFA Israeli army chased school students while they were heading back home from school, provoking residents and leading to clashes.

Forces fired rubber-coated steel bullets and tear gas canisters toward residents and their homes, shooting and injuring a youth.

Forces further blocked the eastern and northern entrances to the village for over three hours.
