RAMALLAH, January 4, 2018 (WAFA) – Israeli soldiers attacked on Thursday the funeral of a young Palestinian who was shot dead by soldiers the day before during confrontations in the Ramallah-area village of Deir Nitham, according to the village’s head of council Ahmad Tamimi.

He said that the army closed the road to the village and prevented the funeral procession from reaching it, prompting residents to clash with the soldiers who fired tear gas and stun grenades at the procession forcing participants of all ages to scramble for safety.

Musab Tamimi, 17, was shot and fatally injured on Wednesday. His body was kept at a Ramallah hospital until his family and village residents took it for burial in his home village on Thursday.
