Foreign Ministry says a crisis cell was formed to fend off Israeli violence

RAMALLAH, Thursday, December 13 2018 (WAFA) – A diplomatic source at the Ministry of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs said on Thursday that the ministry has formed a crisis cell to follow up the developments resulting from the recent Israeli escalation against our people and our leadership, as well as the terror attacks against Palestinian civilians by armed Israeli settlers.

The diplomatic source said the ministry has ordered the embassies and missions of the State of Palestine abroad to mobilize all efforts and capabilities in the host countries and the United Nations to expose the crimes of the Israeli occupation.

The ministry said it will urge the international community to exert maximum pressure on the occupation government to put an end to the crimes perpetrated by Israeli forces and settlers against defenseless Palestinian population.

Since today morning, Israeli settlers went on a rampage in Palestinian villages in the Nablus and Ramallah districts in the West Bank. One of the main rampages targeted the village of Assira al-Qibliya, south of Nablus, where settlers attacked unarmed Palestinian civilians and injured some of them.

These rampages, in addition to stoning Palestinian cars on the West Bank roads, have reached several vulnerable villages in the north, center and south of the West Bank, said reports.
