Palestinian minor killed by Israeli forces near Bethlehem

 

BETHLEHEM, July 23, 2018 (WAFA) – A Palestinian minor was killed while two others were wounded during clashes that broke out with Israeli forces on Monday in Dheisheh refugee camp in Bethlehem in the south of the occupied West Bank, according to Palestinian security sources and the Ministry of Health.

Arkan Thaer Mizher, 15, was shot in the chest and heart by Israeli soldiers during a raid of the camp and was pronounced dead at Beit Jala Hospital where he was taken, said the Ministry of Health.

Two other youths were injured in the leg and taken to hospital. They were reported in stable condition.

According to security sources, Israeli soldiers broke into the camp and raided a number of homes before clashes erupted with camp residents, in which Mizher was fatally injured.

The Israeli forces detained two youths from the camp after raiding their homes, said the security sources.
