NABLUS, Tuesday, October 22, 2019 (WAFA) – Israeli settlers last night attacked a number of Palestinian vehicles travelling along the road connecting the occupied West Bank cities of Ramallah and Nablus, near the village of Al-Lubban Ash-Sharqiya.
Local sources told WAFA that a group of settlers pelted the vehicles with stones, to the south of the aforementioned village and near the illegal Israeli settlement of Ma‘aleLevona, causing damages to a few vehicles.
Yesterday, settlers from the illegal settlement of Esh Kodesh threw rocks at an uninhabited house located between the villages of Jalud and Qusra, to the south of Nablus, and damaged its windows.
Settler violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities.
Settlers‘ violence includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, attacks on vulnerable homes, among others.
Over 600,000 Israelis live in Jewish-only settlements across occupied East Jerusalem and the West Bank in violation of international law.
