GAZA, Friday, May 10, 2019 (WAFA) – At least one Palestinian was killed and 32 others were injured by live bullets, including four children, when Israeli forces attacked hundreds of protesters taking part today in the weekly Great March of Return at Gaza-Israel border, according to medical sources.
The forces fired live bullets and rubber-coated steel rounds at the protesters who gathered at many encampments along the border, killing Abdullah Jumaa Abdul-Al, 24, and injuring 32 other protesters by live bullets, including four minors and a paramedic.
Some of the wounded were moved to hospital and others were treated in the field hospitals.
More than 300 Palestinians have been killed and over 25,000 others injured by Israeli forces since the outbreak of the Great March of Return protests at Gaza border on March 30, 2018.
The protests call for achieving the right of the return of the Palestinian refugees to their homes in historical Palestine and for a full lift of the Israeli blockade of Gaza.
