NABLUS, February 14, 2018 (WAFA) – Israeli Jewish settlers Wednesday attacked Palestinian civilian homes in the town of Assira al-Qibliya, to the south of the city of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, said local sources.
Ghassan Daghlas, who monitors settlements affairs in the northern West Bank, said more than 30 settlers attacked homes in Assira al-Qibliya causing damage but no harm.
He said the settlers, who came from the illegal settlement of Yitzhar, targeted homes belonging to Ahmad Dawood and Jawad Abdul Raouf.
Jewish settlers’ attacks against Palestinians and their properties are common in the occupied territories.
On Tuesday, a 39-year-old Palestinian man, from the al-Zbaidat village to the north of Jericho, was beaten by a group of settlers, causing him multiple cuts and bruises throughout his body.
The settlers are almost never prosecuted for their attacks against Palestinians, while Palestinians who even defend themselves against settler attacks are usually arrested and punished.
