Israeli Forces Detain Seven Palestinians from West Bank

QALQILIYA, March 29, 2016 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Tuesday detained seven Palestinians during predawn raids into Qalqiliya, Ramallah and Bethlehem districts, said the Palestine Prisoner’s Society (PPS).

Israeli forces detained Saqer Shabita, ‘Ala Radwan, Ahmad Badwan and Shadi Hussein after storming and ransacking their houses in ‘Azzun town, west of Qalqiliya city.

Two Palestinian minors were detained during a predawn raid into Beit Liqya town, southwest of Ramallah city. They were identified as Muhammad Mahmoud Othman and Muhammad Samer Othman, both 16.

Forces detained another Palestinian after storming his house in Tuqu‘ town, southeast of Bethlehem city. He was identified as Mahmoud al-Badan, 23, whose brother, Muhammad, is sentenced to life imprisonment in Israeli jails.

This came after forces detained 13 Palestinians, including a journalist, during predawn raids across Hebron district and the Nablus village of Duma.

The new detentions bring the total number of Palestinians detained Tuesday overnight to 20.
