NABLUS, Friday, June 19, 2020 (WAFA) – Governor of the West Bank district of Nablus, Ibrahim Ramadan, ordered today a full closure of multiple sectors after at least 20 cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in the district during the past 24 hours.
Ramadan said in a statement that banquet halls, family councils, cafes, sports clubs, educational institutions, beauty salons, mosques, and churches will be shut down in an effort to prevent an outbreak of the disease.
He said preventive medicine crews will embark on mapping of potential cases of COVID-19 that may have contracted the disease after coming into contact with patients in the district.
