RAMALLAH, Tuesday, March 10, 2020 (WAFA) – Three new coronavirus case were reported in the southern West Bank biblical city of Bethlehem today which brings the total in Palestine to 29, according to the government spokesman Ibrahim Melhem.
He said that after conducting laboratory tests for 50 people suspected of having contracted the virus, three turned out to be positive.
Melhem said those infected with the disease include a two-year-old baby girl and a pregnant woman in her 20s, along with a 16-year-old boy.
He said most of the cases are found at Angel Hotel in Beit Jala and at the National Center in Bethlehem, while 13 cases are kept in quarantine at their homes.
The recent three were in Bethlehem, which brings the number of coronavirus in the city to 28 and only one in the northern West Bank city of Tulkarm.
