HEBRON, June 23, 2018 (WAFA) – Israeli forces detained on Saturday a number of activists and journalists during an activity held in solidarity with Palestinian landowners and farmers whose lands in the town of Bani Naim, east of the southern West Bank city of Hebron, are under threat of confiscation by the army.
WAFA correspondent in Hebron said the soldiers, who declared the area a closed military zone to prevent the protest rally from taking place, detained WAFA photographer, Mashhour Wahwah, Palestine TV correspondent Azmi Banat as well as the director of the anti-settlements and wall committee in the south of the West Bank, Younis Arar, a member of the Hebron governorate and two members of the Bani Naim municipal council and took them into a undisclosed location,
