JERUSALEM, Monday, October 14, 2019 (WAFA) – Special units of the Israeli police detained early this morning the Palestinian governor of Jerusalem, Adnan Ghaith, and the deputy secretary of Fatah movement in Jerusalem Shadi Mutawar, according to local sources.
The sources told WAFA that the Israeli forces assaulted Mutawar as they detained him.
Ghaith was detained several times in the past.
Israeli forces carry out almost daily wide-scale raid and arrest operations in occupied Jerusalem, most notably in Issawiyeh neighborhood.
