JERICHO, 16-12-2012, (WAFA)-Tens of teachers in Jericho went on a strike to protest the delay of paying their salary, said Head of Teachers’ Union.

Mohsen zbaidat said that teachers demanded the government to pay their salary, expressing difficulty in reaching their jobs locations

He said teachers’ strike sends a message to the government to pay their salary and fulfill their previously agreed on demands.

Moreover, Jericho Governor Majed fityani expressed full understanding of teachers’ rights and demands, saying that the government is working hard to pay the salary in the nearest time possible.
