Israeli authorities notify to stop construction work on two livestock sheds west of Bethlehem

BETHLEHEM, Thursday, July 1, 2021 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation authorities notified today to stop the construction work on two livestock sheds in the village of al-Walaja to the west of the southern West Bank district of Bethlehem, according to youth activist Ibrahim Awadallah.

He told WAFA correspondent that Israeli forces delivered demolition notices against two livestock sheds belonging to a local resident in the village of al-Walaja, citing unpermitted construction as a pretext.

The said village has been subjected to repeated Israeli violations by settlers and soldiers, including the demolition of homes and retaining walls, orders to stop construction and razing of land.

Israel rarely issues construction permits to Palestinians in such areas, forcing many to build without permits.
