Governor of Jenin orders lockdown of town where 11 cases of coronavirus were confirmed

JENIN, Sunday, July 26, 2020 (WAFA) – Akram Rajoub, the Governor of the occupied West Bank district of Jenin, announced today that the town of Ya'abad, southwest of Jenin, will be closed for 48 hours starting today after 11 new coronavirus cases were reported in the town.

Rajoub told WAFA that security services will implement the requirements of this decision, help support preventive medical teams to determine the list of people who came in contact with the infected ones, and conduct the necessary checks.

He urged citizens to fully adhere to the lockdown and safety rules in order to get past this hard situation.
