RAMALLAH, Saturday, July 25, 2020 (WAFA) – One Palestinian, an 88-year-old man, has died of coronavirus, 382 new cases were recorded and 627 patients have recovered from the disease in the last 24 hours, today said the Ministry of Health.

It said active cases have dropped to 8464 while overall recoveries have reached 4256 as deaths stood at 74, of whom 70 are in the West Bank, mainly in Hebron and its area villages, three in East Jerusalem and one in the Gaza Strip.

The Ministry said that while cases in the Hebron district, the current epicenter of the disease are down, the number in Israeli-occupied East Jerusalem continues to rise at an alarming rate with 170 new cases recorded in the last 24 hours.

Of the active cases, 15 remain in intensive care and three are on respirators.
