RAMALLAH, Thursday, July 16, 2020 (WAFA) – A Palestinian recently released by Israel after serving 18 years behind bars for resisting the occupation was among nine Palestinians Israeli forces have detained late last night and early this morning in the occupied territories, according to the Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS).

It said the army detained Juma Tayeh, from the village of Kufr Nimeh, in the Ramallah area, who recently completed his 18-year prison sentence and released.

The army also detained five Palestinians from different towns, villages and refugee camps in the Bethlehem district, and another resident of the village of Kharsa in the south of the West Bank.

In occupied Jerusalem, Israeli forces detained two residents of Silwan neighborhood, said the PPS.
