HEBRON, May 2, 2016 (WAFA) – Israeli forces on Monday detained at least four Palestinians in Hebron district, in southern West Bank, and stole two vehicles belonging to locals, according to security sources. Army broke into the town of Saeer, to the northeast of Hebron, and detained Mohammad Tafesh, 21, and stole his vehicle, laptop, and mobile phone, after they ransacked his home. Meanwhile, the army stormed the nearby town of Deir Samet, where they detained Shadi al-Hroub, a local Palestinian. Army also broke into the town of ash-Shuyukh, nearby, and detained Mohammad Abdurrahim Halaiqa and stole his vehicle, after raiding his home. Another Palestinian, identified as Awni Ghnemat, was detained by Israeli troops who stormed the town of Surif, northwest of Hebron. M.N  
RAMALLAH, May 2, 2016 (WAFA) – Partially cloudy skies accompanied by a drop in temperatures are predicted on Monday, remaining at two degrees Celsius above annual average, according to the Palestine Meteorological Department. Winds are northwesterly to westerly slight to active sometimes, and sea waves are low. On Tuesday, hot and dry weather accompanied by a significant rise in temperatures are expected to prevail, becoming higher than annual average by around eight degrees Celsius. A significant drop in temperatures is predicted on Wednesday, setting back to four degrees Celsius below annual average, and with a little chance of scattered rains on some areas. Temperatures are expected to slightly rise on Thursday, yet remaining below annual average by around two degrees Celsius.
JERUSALEM, May 1, 2016 (WAFA) – Israeli police on Sunday detained three Palestinians minors in the town of al-Issawiya, on the outskirts of Jerusalem, according to local sources. WAFA correspondent said the police detained Majd Dari, 15, Fadi Issawi, 14, and Shadi Odeh, 17, after raiding their family homes. The three were led to a nearby interrogation center. Earlier last night, Israeli forces broke into the town of ar-Ram, to the north of Jerusalem, and fired teargas canisters and stun grenades at locals’ homes, as well as smashed the windshields of multiple vehicles that were parked along the streets in the town. GAZA, May 1, 2016 (WAFA) – Israeli naval boats on Sunday attacked with gunfire Palestinian fishermen while they were sailing within six miles from the shore of Gaza, according to WAFA correspondent. He said Israeli navy opened heavy machine gunfire on fishermen’s boats, despite sailing within the six-nautical-mile zone allowed for Palestinian fishing industry, causing damage to at least one boat. No injuries were reported among the fishermen who apparently fled the scene for fear of being detained, inured, or killed.
